JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provide Project Management Office (PMO) support to a variety of projects and programs.
• Create and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Set standards for how projects are run
• Define and review project management processes and workflows
• Ensure project management standards are followed
• Assist and guide Project Managers on project management tools, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
• Gathering of project data and production of information for Management review.
• Attend and prepare minutes of meetings of various committees and project review meetings.
• Undertake the common administrative and management support activities for projects, programs and portfolios.
• Assist PMO Manager in carrying out other project Management related duties as and when required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related DISCIPLINE.
Master's degree Masters in Business Administration is preferred.
Must have 4 years of working experience in PMO.
Must be a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified.
Must have experience in an enterprise level IT organization, experience in education sector is a plus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Keep track of projects progress, issues, risks and change request.
• Follow up with Project Managers on timely reporting of project progress/status.
• Prepare are weekly project portfolio reports.
• Create budget/financial reports as and when required by the Senior Management.
• Prepare progress reports on KFUPM Strategic Plan and JCTC Strategy.
• Implement governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking, monitoring and
updating the status of deliverables.
• Ensure project lessons learned are recorded and shared,
• Manage the portfolio level risks and issues.
KNOWLEFGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Knowledge of Project Management best practices, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and IT Service Management frameworks (e.g. ITIL, ISO 20000) is a plus.
• Advanced expertise and experience with Microsoft Suite i.e. MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Visio.
• Must have effective communication and analytical skills.
• Effective presentation skills
• Good notes taking, facilitation and writing skills.
