• This position provides system all Unix/Linux based software by implementing, monitoring and maintaining systems and application software running under Unix/Linux and DevOps.
• The position also requires providing optimum system performance and availability.
• Ability to code and script and also provide infrastructure support to Cloud and on premise environments.
QULAIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology (IT) or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
Must have 5+ years of experience in scripting in Linux (Debian / RHEL), Bash, Python, Ansible and have exposure to configuration management and version control.
Experience in handling of Linux systems including virtualization, clustering, backup, storage,
recovery, performance, etc.
Proactive in identifying issues and make sure services are meeting SLAs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deploy software baselines to TEST and PRODUCTION Linux environments hosted in a Virtual
Hosting Environment (VMware) and Azure Cloud.
• Work with development team to review and modify deployment instructions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operating system issues in operations.
• Provide infrastructure support to Azure Cloud development environment.
• Provide technical support in the analysis and mitigation of known systems vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical knowledge and support in Assessment and Authorization (A & A) related activities.
• Assist with conducting Security Testing & Evaluation (ST&E) in support of system accreditations as needed.
• Mandatory experience with tools such as Ansible/Puppeft / chef proficient in installation, configuration, cloning, patching of databases Oracle 11 g / 12c and Oracle EBS 11i / R12
KNOWLEFGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Linux experience, relevant certifications e.g. RHCSA / RHCE / or equivalent.
• Experience performing software deployments.
• Experience scripting in a Linux environment using shell and Bash.
• Experience with systems and IT operations. ./
• Experience with Ansible/Puppet/Chef.
• Ability to code and script.
• Must have experience with Azure Cloud.
• DevOps/Agile experience
• Familiarity with LDAPs, CA' and Security concepts (SSL/TLS, PKI, etc.).
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
• Strong grasp of automation tools.
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.
